Middle Distance Runner :: The Sun & Earth :: October 20th

Bassist, IOTA, CMJ, MTV . . . TNT!!

You’d think we could take ten months off from playing shows without people getting their adult diapers in a wrinkle, but NOOOOOOOOOOO.  So we’re gonna play IOTA Club and Cafe on October 10th with our buddies in New Rock Church of Fire, and we’re gonna play some new stuff we’ve been trying to record, and it’s gonna be the debut of Mr. Tony Acampora (of the fabulous Greenland band) on the bass guitar.  Huzzah!

Oh, by the way… in looking back over our show history on myspace, we realized that this is our 100th show!  This means that at the end of the show, confetti and balloons will come down from the ceiling and everybody will get a huge check!

This is all in preparation for the CMJ Music Marathon in New York, which we’ll explain in more detail at a later date.  Ergo forthwith.

Oh, and by the way, if you watched the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, you may have noticed that Danity Kane’s intro music was “Man of the People”.  That’s one of our songs, and frankly, I think it’s time Danity Kane stopped trying to ride our wave of insane success.  They should find something else to ride.  Ahem.

xoxo!

You guys are gonna be at CMJ? Damn, UMW doesn’t have the money to send me up there this year. That’s just bogus. Anyways I look forward to the show and seeing the new bassist. Peace!
